China’s 5G network has been rolled out rapidly with several cities already achieving full coverage. China has become the largest 5G mobile network in the world with over 85% of 5G connections globally. China’s tech giants continue to invest heavily in 5G technologies and it has been applied to a huge variety of industries. Yet the country already has its eyes on the next technological development and 6G will be introduced in 2029.
