Tmall Global launches “Go Global 11.11 Pitch Fest” for British SMEs

 
 
Tmall Global, Alibaba’s cross-border e-commerce platform, has announced the launch of its “Go Global 11.11 Pitch Fest”. The virtual event will give SMEs from the UK and Ireland the chance to pitch to an Alibaba expert panel.

Successful applicants will be launched on Tmall Global and will have the opportunity to participate in Tmall’s lucrative Singles’ Day, which takes place every year on 11 November. Brands will be featured in a livestream session in the lead-up to and during the event. They will also be pitched to some of the most famous Chinese influencers for inclusion in their Singles’ Day streams.

All brands that apply for the pitch will receive a one-to-one consultation with a Tmall Global expert and a report with relevant market data and consumer insights. 

The deadline for submissions is 16 July, with the “Go Global 11.11 Pitch Fest” taking place from 17 to 31 July.
