Geely works with Mobileye on new self-driving electric vehicle

Autonomous vehicle company Mobileye and Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings announced a partnership yesterday (September 24) to create self-driving electric vehicles.

The new Mobileye SuperVision system, which uses autonomous driving technology, will be installed in the electric vehicle “Zero Concept”. The car is being launched by Lynk & Co, an automobile brand owned by Geely. Mobileye will provide the hardware and software, as well as system updates to improve driver assistance systems.

Mobileye is a subsidiary of top US chipmaker Intel. Geely Group is a leading automobile manufacturer known for its world-class research and development in the industry.
