The 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2025) will be held from April 23 to May 2, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. This year’s event will feature nearly 1,000 renowned companies from 26 countries and regions, spanning more than 360,000 square meters of exhibition space.
First launched in 1985 and held every two years, Auto Shanghai has grown in step with the development of China’s and the global auto industries. Over the decades, it has become one of China’s most influential and authoritative auto shows, and a key event on the global calendar.
Auto Shanghai showcases a broad range of exhibits, including but not limited to: passenger cars, commercial vehicles, new energy vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and RVs; automotive design and concept models; new energy technologies and products; intelligent and connected vehicle tech; auto parts and components; vehicle safety and anti-theft systems; and car care products.
Driven by a new wave of energy transition and industrial change, a new era is unfolding in the auto industry. To meet energy-saving and carbon-reduction targets, countries worldwide are accelerating plans for new energy systems and advancing innovation in clean vehicle technologies.
