After Qingdao reported 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, the city’s authorities have carried out nucleic acid testing on 7.5 million people, as of 9:30 a.m on October 14.
The municipal health commission aims to complete testing of the whole city’s population within five days of October 12. Of the 4.06 million collected samples that have been tested so far, no one has tested positive.
