Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with América Móvil, the largest telecommunications operator in Latin America. América Móvil’s subsidiaries in the region, Telcel and Claro, will promote sales.
The move will enable consumers in Mexico and Latin America to purchase OPPO smartphones, and is an important milestone in OPPO’s global expansion.
OPPO has formed partnerships with over 80 network operators around the world, which is one of its key strategies to develop its brand in the global market. In May, OPPO signed an agreement with Vodafone to expand its presence in Europe.
