China International Import Expo sees record $72.62 billion deals despite COVID-19

The third China International Import Expo secured a higher value of deals than previous years according to official data released today (November 10). Deals for “intended” one-year purchases of goods and services valued $72.62 billion, a 2.1% increase from 2019.

The event, which took place between November 5 to 10 in Shanghai, had an exhibition area of 360,000 square metres with over 400,000 visitors from across the world signing up. 411 new products, technologies and services were released at the CIIE event this year.
