Boucheron brings Parisian garden to Beijing with exhibition

On 27 March, French luxury jeweller Boucheron opened the doors to its latest exhibition in China. This time, it is at the Green T. House in Beijing. With celebrity ambassadors present, the Boucheron exhibition transforms the Beijing teahouse into a veritable Parisian garden from the Nineteenth Century, honouring the heritage and elegance of the Place Vendôme maison.

The exhibition is for the brand’s latest high jewellery collection by creative director Claire Choisne, part of the Histoire de Style collection and titled Untamed Nature. The collection pays tribute to Frédéric Boucheron, who founded the Maison in 1858, and the ivy that inspired some of his earliest works at the first Boucheron location, within the arcades of Palais Royale.

The exhibition puts the 28 pieces from the collection on display. Each piece was crafted from 20 to over 1,200 hours by artisans. The high jewellery pieces take inspiration from vines, flowers and insects, signifying the tenacious nature and ecosystem that blurs the line between people and their surroundings. Boucheron rchives and inspirations are also included in the exhibition, bringing a Parisian garden into a tea house in Beijing.

The opening of the exhibition saw celebrity ambassadors and friends of the brand in attendance, including actress Zhou Dongyu (周冬雨), Shu Qi (舒淇) and actor Mark Chao (趙又廷). The CEO of Maison Boucheron, Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, was also present at the opening of the exhibition. In October 2024, the French brand also exhibited its high Carte Blanche, Or Bleu jewellery line in Beijing, with creative director Claire Choisne attending the event.
