POP MART opens largest store in the world in Bangkok

Less than 6 months after the Chinese toymaker POP MART, best known for its viral sensation LABUBU, opened its largest store in Thailand and the first concept flagship in the world at the Seacon Square Srinakarin in Bangkok, the brand has done it again.

On 7 August, POP MART opened the doors to its latest store in Thailand, located on the top floor of the ICONSIAM in Bangkok. This store is now the toymaker’s largest store in the world. With a whopping 760 square metres, the new flagship from POP MART is an immersive space that combines art, culture and lifestyle.

Outside the store, there is a four-metre-high statue of MOLLY, one of the brand’s earliest and biggest IPs. The statue wears local attire and is riding an elephant. The interior combines Dopamine-style colours and geometric shapes, signalling infinity and endless blind boxes. Working with local restaurant Greyhound Café, POP MART also included the first-ever POP MART CAFÉ outside China. Exclusive LABUBU, MOLLY, SKULLPANDA toys are also available at the store, including a MEGA SPACE MOLLY 400% Mango Sticky Rice, combining local delicacies with its toys.

By the end of April 2025, POP MART had 88 stores in 14 countries, including South Korea, Singapore, the United States, the UK, Malaysia and Thailand. The toymaker has been harnessing its huge popularity outside China, with Thailand being one of the key markets. Its popular character DIMOO was recently named the “cultural friend” for the celebrations of 50 years of China-Thailand ties. POP MART remains one of the most successful Chinese brands to expand abroad.
