ChinaJoy, also known as the China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference, is China’s largest gaming convention. This year it will be held from July 31 to August 3 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
In order to give users a premium experience, it has partnered with JD PLUS to provide a virtual edition of the event this year. JD PLUS is JD’s premium membership program which was introduced by the e-commerce giant in 2015 to reward based on users’ frequency and spending on the platform. It now has over 15 million members.
Exhibitors will be able to hold livestreams, online press conferences and display their products on the platform. JD is also offering the opportunity for its JD PLUS members to win free tickets to the offline event through the platform.
