China’s export market for classical toys has seen a steady recovery since July. According to customs classifications, classical toys include:
- Animal toys
- Dolls
- Educational toys
- Wheeled toys
- Toy cars
- Power-driven toys and models
China is the world’s biggest toy exporter. According to the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association, China exported $3.54 billion worth of classical toys in July, a 21.2% increase from the previous year. Export revenue has improved throughout the year as markets recover from COVID-19: $3.94 billion of toys were exported in August and $4.11 billion in September, a year-on-year rise of 2.6% and 7.9%, respectively.
