She recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine with B.A.s in Film & Media Studies and Psychological Science. Soon, she’ll be pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Southern California. Yes, she loves California!
Born and raised in Shenzhen, one of the southernmost cities in China, Yilan enjoys sunny days. In her own time, she likes to curl up with a good book, a warm cup of tea, and her cat. Before joining Dao, she worked as a content writer for a literary magazine and an event planner for a mental health initiative. Moving forward, she’s excited to keep exploring marketing campaigns and using psychology to address business challenges.
